At Rise & Jam, we are committed to sharing slow-fermented breads and small-batch jams with care and integrity. The following Terms & Conditions outline how we operate and help ensure a smooth experience for everyone.

By placing an order, you agree to the policies outlined below.

Rise & Jam operates as a licensed cottage food business in the State of Washington. All products are prepared in a home kitchen that is not subject to standard commercial food establishment inspection.

Under the Washington State cottage food law:

• Products must be sold directly to the final consumer.
  
  
• We are not permitted to sell through third-party retailers or wholesale accounts.
  
  
• Shipping is not available at this time.
  
  
• All sales must be completed locally within Washington State.
  
  

Orders are fulfilled through local pickup or delivery within the Wenatchee and East Wenatchee area.

We’re grateful to serve our local community and appreciate your support of small, home-based businesses. 

• Orders are placed through our online order form.
   
• Orders are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
   
• Orders are considered confirmed once payment is received (unless otherwise stated).
   
• Weekly order deadlines will be clearly posted on our website and social media.
   

Due to the small-batch nature of our products, availability may be limited.

• Accepted payment methods: Cash, Venmo, PayPal, Credit Card via PayPal or website 
• Payment is due at the time of ordering unless otherwise noted.
• Unpaid orders may be cancelled.

• Pickup location: Wenatchee, WA (exact address provided after order confirmation).
• Pickup window: Pickup location, date and time will be provided after order confirmation
• Orders must be picked up during the designated pickup window.
   

If you anticipate being late, please contact us. Orders not picked up during the scheduled time may be forfeited without refund due to the perishable nature of our products.

Rise & Jam offers local delivery within Wenatchee and East Wenatchee one scheduled day per week.

• The designated delivery day will be posted on the order form and/or shared via social media.
   
• Delivery is available only within Wenatchee and East Wenatchee city limits.
   
• A delivery fee may apply and will be clearly stated at the time of ordering.
   
• Someone must be available to receive the order unless prior arrangements have been confirmed.
   

Contactless delivery is available upon request. If contactless delivery is requested and agreed upon, the order will be considered delivered once it has been left at the designated location.

Because our products are perishable, Rise & Jam is not responsible for items after delivery has been completed, including orders left unattended at the customer’s request. Responsibility for proper storage and handling transfers to the customer at the time of delivery.

Please ensure that your delivery address and contact information are accurate when placing your order. Rise & Jam is not responsible for delays or missed deliveries due to incorrect information.

If delivery cannot be completed due to inaccessibility or no response at the time of arrival, the order may be considered fulfilled and non-refundable.

Rise & Jam products are made in a home kitchen that processes:

• Wheat (gluten)
   
• Dairy
   
• Eggs
   
• Tree nuts
   

We now offer select gluten-free items; however, all products are prepared in the same kitchen.

At Rise & Jam, we are pleased to offer select gluten-free baked goods. We take intentional steps to reduce the risk of cross-contact while operating within a shared home kitchen environment.

To minimize gluten exposure:

• Gluten-free items are baked on designated gluten-free bake days.
   
• Separate equipment is used for gluten-free production, including pans, bannetons, bowls, and utensils.
   
• Ingredients for gluten-free products are stored separately from wheat-based ingredients whenever possible.
   
• Work surfaces are thoroughly cleaned prior to gluten-free preparation.
   

While we take thoughtful precautions, Rise & Jam operates in a home kitchen that also processes wheat (gluten). Because the kitchen space is shared, we cannot guarantee that products are completely free of gluten or other allergens.

Our gluten-free products are not produced in a certified gluten-free facility.

If you have specific dietary needs or medical concerns related to gluten, we encourage you to contact us prior to ordering so we can help you make an informed decision.

All Rise & Jam products are handcrafted in small batches. Variations in shape, texture, and flavor may occur and are part of the artisan baking process.

All website content, branding, images, and logos are the property of Rise & Jam and may not be reproduced or used without permission.
